Today I went with some friends to check out the “Italian Style” exhibit at the Frist in Nashville. Fashion exhibits in Nashville are few and far between so I had to check it out before it ends on September 7th!
The first room in the exhibit shows the ball gown era of Italian fashion and had items from designers such as Pucci and Valentino.
A room showcasing the Ready to Wear era contained pieces such as Moschino from the 90’s through the early 2000’s.
An intricate pattern was laid out on this mock-up for a polka dot coat.
After a few awkward tries, I managed to snap an outfit of the day photo outside by this amazing sculpture. It was a little “chilly” today for a Tennessee summer (72F) so I wore my white Gap shirtdress (thrifted, similar style here) with my black slides and my thrifted jaguar bag with my new watch.
As always, if you enjoyed this post give it a like and, if you aren’t already, follow me! I’m sorry my posts were a bit sparse for a bit but I was getting used to being back at work and all my free time has been spent in my bed! Now that we’re getting closer to my favorite season (FALLL!!!), I promise I will have tons of new looks to show you!
