K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple, Stupid)

IMG_7319As a “Southerner” (for lack of a better term…), of course some of my outfits will have some sort of Southern/Country influence. Of course you will never see me in full-on Western attire (cowboy boots give me flashbacks of my days living on a dairy farm and wearing them knee-deep in manure), but I definitely wouldn’t say no to the Chloè Suzanna studded ankle boots that I’ve been coveting for YEARS! (*insert stressed emoji here*) As a college student with a part-time retail job, I obviously don’t have the real thing but these that I bought at Forever 21 a few years back are my favorite shoes EVER. (similar here)
IMG_7329 I decided to keep today’s outfit simple, or classic as I prefer to call it. I wore a thrifted tee that I stole from my boyfriend because let’s just admit it- our armpits are tired of being constricted in women’s t-shirts. (Hopefully it’s not just me…that would be embarassing. “Rebecca has fat armpits”) I paired the shirt with my favorite jeans EVER from American Eagle. These are the “Sky-High Jegging.” These are the closet to high-waisted that any non-vintage jeans have ever been on me. At 5’9, I’m extremely lucky that these even come to my belly button! Once Fall is in full-swing, I will be ordering a new pair (or two).IMG_7333 IMG_7337For the millionth day in a row, I also wore my marble necklace from Forever. Unfortunately, it’s sold out or I’d order like 5 more for when something happens to this one! I carried my trusty old Birken look-alike that I found at Plato’s Closet a few years ago. It’s the perfect size for my laptop and notebooks. I’m a backpark avoider for sure.
IMG_7343This look is one I recreate a lot throughout the Fall/when I’m in school. Minimal accessories and good fits make for an easy look that look like a bit more thought was put in.

Be sure to comment below with your thoughts on the look and what you like to wear for Fall! 🙂

See you all again soon! Xx Rebecca
