Creatures of Comfort (you know, the OTHER creature brand!) held their NYFW show on Friday. The collection was an eclectic mix of patterns, textures, and lengths. The fabric had a light, spring air about it and evoked a carefree-ness that all of us try so hard to achieve.
I really loved these “mom in the 90’s” patterns on these and several other looks. I think almost all of us can remember a time when our mothers wore a jumper dress with these types of patterns with a weirdly thick tee shirt underneath.
My favorite color in the collection would have to be this burnt orange/ orange red color. It is such a versatile color and I especially love it with the mint green/blue color.
In comparison to the colorful looks that were set throughout the collection, the monochromatic looks still held their own. It looks like the last two looks here are made of knit materials and I just realllyyyyy wanna touch them D: (anyone else out there a “physical shopper”? Like, rubbing allll the fabrics??).
Sorry this one is up a little later than planned! I have TWO tests on Tuesday (including accounting -_-) and my life has consisted of work and studying the last few days. As always, be sure to give me a follow either here or via email using the buttons in the sidebar. Also, let me know what you thought of this collection in the comments below! Xx Rebecca
