Lookbook: Suede Skirt

A few weeks ago, I found a suede skirt at my local vintage store for $1! This type of skirt was a staple piece in many Fall 2015 collections and will definitely be a staple in my own Fall wardrobe.

Here’s the suede skirt, 3 ways!
IMG_7926IMG_7909IMG_7897Casual: Pair your skirt with a v-neck white tee and some simple slides for a comfortable every day look.

Tee- Arizona, slides- similar, bag- similarIMG_7839IMG_7827IMG_7846Monochromatic: Pair the skirt with a rib knit top in a coordinating color.

(Inspired by Kim K. West, Queen of Beige)

IMG_7960IMG_7955IMG_7940Cold October Day: Pair the skirt with a cozy turtleneck and some clogs in neutral colors to keep cozy on a chilly day. Add a plaid over-sized scarf for added warmth around your neck or as a cape.

sweater- similar, clogs- Arizona (on clearance now!), scarf- similar

(I’m not sure why the camera is less focused on the last two looks. Probably because I was trying to avoid the legions of weird gnats that kept crawling into my lungs while also avoiding my neighbor’s demon dog that likes to hide in the hedges and randomly run at me barking. No, but really. What’s the deal with these bugs??)

And here’s the video I created for these looks for my YouTube channel! Subscribe to me there and be sure to follow me here and on social media using the buttons on the right! MWAH! Xx

  1. This is such a cute look! I’ve been meaning to buy a suede skirt, but I’ve been worried I’d look like a cowgirl or something! You may have just reinspired me to get one 🙂
Thank you for the follow on my blog, I appreciate it from someone who has such a great blog herself.

    1. Ah! Thank you so much! ❤ I love your blog and your layout! I've GOT to try that Butterbeer recipe! (When I was at Wizarding World a million years ago, I got the frozen version. Look up Starbucks Butterbeer Frap on Pinterest! It tastes almost the same and the baristas love to try making new things!)

    1. It’s still sooooo hot in Tennessee but we’ve had a few chilly days scattered in… I like to think I’m preparing myself :’D
