Summer Go-To: The Floral Skirt

My closet is absolutely over flowing with vintage floral skirts. These have become as much of a staple for me in Summer as my mom jeans and black boots in the Fall and Winter. My office is on the more casual side of business casual so these have been a life saver during for those long, sweaty train rides. (Please, people. Deodorant.)

On this particular day, I wore one that I picked up at No Relation Vintage out to brunch at Mother Burger with my boyfriend and his lovely uncles. Normally, I would insert a photo of my food here but… it was lonnnnng gone before a blog post crossed my mind.

I paired the skirt with a Forever 21 tank top in Chestnut, my trusty old brown sandals (similar here), and my usual Steve Madden tote (similar here).

After brunch, we wandered around Columbus Circle Mall and I almost died in Eileen Fisher because it was everything I want in life. I also became ridiculously obsessed with J. Crew‘s blazers because suddenly I’m an adult??

Eileen Fisher shoes that I’m definitely going back for because I haven’t stopped thinking about them in “Blog Slide” and J. Crew “Campbell” blazer in red corduroy because suddenly I’m ok with how my red hair looks next to red things?

There was a giant naked couple in the middle of the mall. I found Miss New Booty.

Bonus shot of our beach day Saturday. But really…how do you girls look cute at the beach?? I get there and instantly my hair is frizzy, I’ve got sand in some really nasty places, and I’m eating. Teach me.

If this weekend was anything like how my long weekend will be this week… I’m in. ❤
